Integrated Strategic
Planning and Analysis Network Architecture and Integration (ISPAN A&I)
A 10-year, $325 Million
dollar Lockheed Martin prime contract through ESC to provide USSTRATCOM with
the next generation, net-centric framework for integrating the planning and
analysis capabilities of global warfighters.
McCallie is a Lockheed Martin Teammate and supported the independent
research and development program during the risk reduction phase as well as the
prototype and proposal development. The
resulting A&I contract will develop and deliver a net-centric enterprise
services-based software architecture with 3 new overarching functions called
Executive, Optimizer, and Decision Support. The 3 new framework functions tie
ISPAN component-level capabilities together by providing automated, rules-based
workflow control of planning and analysis processes, global optimization of
plan elements and options, and insight into the planning processes
underway. McCallie provides engineering
and subject matter experts to the ISPAN project across all program areas
including architecture, integration and testing, and application development
and maintenance. ISPAN development
deliverables are produced in a spiral development program with multiple
overlapping increments within each spiral in order to capture and refine
requirements in the rapidly evolving global missions of USSTRATCOM.
