McCallie Associates Inc. Excellence in Business Award

 

On May 15th, 2007, before a crowd of over 700 at a ceremony at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Omaha, McCallie Associates, Inc. was recognized with an Omaha 25 Excellence in Business Award by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.  McCallie was selected within the large business category (126+ employees) and was one of 6 large businesses to be recognized from eastern Nebraska.  McCallie's President and CEO, Jennifer Maassen, received the award on behalf of all Associates.

           

First launched in the early 1990s, the Excellence in Business Awards ceremony is held in May of each year to honor the contributions that local businesses make to economic success and to the community.  "This awards program recognizes small businesses for growth, contributions to the community, creativity and vision," said David Brown, Chamber President and CEO.  McCallie Associates competed against businesses from across the region, and was the only defense contractor selected for this award.

           

"This program highlights companies that are growing and moving into new, exciting ventures," said Drew Blossom, managing partner at KPMG in Omaha, which was the presenting sponsor of the event.  "This program puts the spotlight on companies which, because of the nature of their business, might not normally have their names out there in this way, receiving public recognition for their accomplishments."
